stop making releases then coming back to add more to them, wait till they are finished. releasing them in bits and pieces is confusing and usually breaks saves.

I started playing the game a second time, to be sure about my first impression. The hearth of the game is in a good place, the quality of the text is not as good as the other elements. And they trust too much in that bad text, too many words. But the worse thing is the lack of sense of movement in the story. They start with main character staring at his "landlord" posterior too long. Keep those long starring scenes. No feeling of progression.
But, what makes the game catch my attention so much that I made 2 comments here already is not the art. Images are alright, not great. That work uniform of "Boss" Jane, for instance, bends in ways that brake immersion. The character's house makes hard to believe the talk about money difficulties. The core of the game makes it attractive. They don't try to be original for the sake of originality, what is good. Give us a villain and the promise to learn how to tame it.
I believe this game can be great, if developers rewrite the text and rethink the pace of their story. I suggest a look in The Mind Society, here in gamcore, for reference about build a status of normality before introduce the magical element/disturbing incident (great text too!). No need of dreaming sex-scene, but some tension between desire and possibility is important.
I understand where the negative critics came from. Basically, this story has a problem with pace, ritme is all wrong. Art is fine, the story is not too original but they do something nice with the tropes they choose work with. We know there is a way to turn the table and take control over the Dominatrix-ish "villain". Dead father did it, partially. So, that's a fine motivation to want to see what comes next. But, the developer should rethink their storytelling.
