Anon, Actually yes they do. The cheats raise All the stats that can be increased by grinding. ONLY stat it doesnt raise is courage cuz that is raised and lowered by drinking alcohol and resting.

Otherwise the item wont register and the quest hint will tell you buy a camera from the store eventho you already have one. To advance you would have to discard owned camera and go buy new one
